With a team of two in-house linguists, we can offer an extra proofreading step after the usual translation and editing process. Our clients are usually big fans of this service as it saves time and takes some of the load off project managers. During busier times or for larger volumes we rely on a solid network of trusted translators and editors. But please note that we don't have a large pool of translators. We don't have a recruitment procedure in place, but instead only work with qualified translators whom we know personally and share our values.
We understand how important it is to get a speedy reply to a job enquiry and not be left hanging. We do everything we can to respond to all enquires as quickly as we can, especially if we can’t accept them. Our official office hours are from 9am to 5.30pm CET on weekdays. However, if you’re elsewhere in the world you normally can reach us by phone or email at a time that works for both you and us.
Whether it’s working with different client portals, assignment and delivery methods, linguistic and technical instructions, invoicing methods or quality management tools, we can always adapt to your needs. We work with all the main CAT tools, but we’re more than happy to take the time to get to grips with any customer-specific tools. We also love mixing things up, switching between different types of task and subject areas.

There’s never a dull day at TAGS. Our downtime is spent learning new skills and tools, improving our working languages and researching our subject fields. We try to take part on trainings offered by clients as much as we can, but we also regularly attend training courses as part of our continuous professional development.

Working in the Translation and Localization industry since 2005, Teresa currently divides her time between Porto and Brussels. TAGS represents the natural evolution of her freelance career and apart from her management role, she is the Lead Translator with a special focus on transcreation or SEO-related projects.
Based in the beautiful city of Porto, Marta joined the team in 2019 and is a valuable second pair of hands and eyes.
A fashion and sports enthusiast, she often switches between technical and creative projects, working with different tools and workflows.
Virtual Assistant / Project Manager
Susana takes a lot of admin tasks off our hands so that we can truly focus on what matters most: your translation projects. She’ll be your point of contact for all things invoicing and admin and she also manages our schedule, so she might be the one to confirm our availability for a request or to suggest a new deadline.
